parkrun organise free, weekly, 5km timed runs around the
world. They are open to everyone and are safe and easy
to take part in.
parkruns can be used to achieve Widnes Wasps' standards,
but because they are not a race no championship points
will be awarded for parkruns.
Sue and Anita were the first Wasps to take part in a
parkrun and were very impressed with the organisation
and atmosphere. They will be running more and hope
other Wasps will join them.
