The annual general meeting was attended by 17 members.
Linda and Joanne presented their reports.
The club has had a successful year.
Membership stands at 19, with three new members joining
during the year; Lesley, Linda Jones and Lily.
Races were well attended, especially the Four Villages Half
Marathon and the Liverpool Women's 10k.
Race details, when available, will be handed out on club nights.
Several social events were organised including Amsterdam,
the Lake District and the Isle of Man.
Plans were made for the coming year for; the Christmas
Social,Presentation Night, the Club Handicap and the club's
20th Anniversary Celebrations.
Sue and Diane will be 50 in 2007 and ideas for a celebration
were discussed.
A collection was made to celebrate Jeanie and Ronnie's 40th
wedding anniversary. £55 was raised for the Breakthrough
Breast Cancer Charity.
All members were asked to support the Widnes Recreation
Club by spending money at the club as well as using its
facilities.
All officers agreed to stand for another year.
Joanne agreed to continue to manage the Beginners' Rota.
Lesley agreed to design a web site for the club.
Special thanks go to Sue for providing the venue and
organising the food and wine.
